About Us
Woodend Farmhouse with its adjacent annex sleeps up to 18 people. Enjoy dining in the huge farmhouse kitchen with 12 foot pine table, an oil-fired Aga (the heart of every country house) providing constant cookability 24 hours a day, plus crackling log fires to warm your toes!
The Banqueting barn is available for hire when several cottages are booked together for that special reunion/get together etc. All properties are equipped to a high standard with colour T.V's, cookers, microwaves and fridges. Others also have video players, music centres, dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryer. Full heating and electricity is included in our rates, (no meters or coin boxes). Pets are accepted in some cottages. Smokers are requested not to smoke in bedrooms. Philip and Lynne Workman are the proprietors and are available to assist visitors with local information, this maybe of special interest for overseas visitors. Farm's peaceful setting is centrally located and easily accessible from
most parts of the country, being just 4 miles away from junction
9 or the M5 and 2 miles form the M50 motorways. We are approximately
2 hours from London and Manchester, 1 hour from Bristol and Birmingham.
Stratford on Avon, Oxford, Cheltenham and all the Cotswolds picturesque
towns and villages are all within easy reach.
